Connecticut Delegation Urges Passage of Infrastructure Package

The passage of the bipartisan $1 trillion infrastructure package in the United States Senate last week has prompted Connecticut officials to urge passage in the House of Representatives. “The bill means more to Connecticut than just about any state in the country,” Governor Ned Lamont said Wednesday at a press conference. “We do have really aging infrastructure.” If the legislation passes, Connecticut will receive more than $5.38 billion to assist in transportation funding.
